WHAT's NEW:
Grant Circle Revitilization: The Rockport, Gloucester, and Cape Ann Garden Clubs have been awarded the opportunity to design, plant, and maintain Grant Circle!
Work will begin in June. Volunteers are needed. Contact Gretchen Anderson at ganderson8945@comcast.net or 978-546-5949 to participate.
Rockport Garden Club Scholarship--Rena Kurth Award: The Rena Kurth award will
be given to a graduate or graduates of Rockport High School who have successfully
completed one year at an accredited institution pursuing studies in horticulture,
ecology, environmental concerns or conservation. A letter of interest should address
plans for a career, summary of school and/or community activities during the
previous year and a summary of employment and/or volunteer work since leaving
high school. A copy of final grades for the just completed year should be included
with
the letter. The scholarship award will be presented at the RGC August picnic
meeting. Letters of interest should be forwarded to Kate Van Demark, 12 Bayridge
Lane, Rockport, MA no later than Friday, June 21, 2013
